The Don't Frack California rally on Saturday will be the largest gathering ever against fracking in CA. Buses are coming from all over the state and more than 5000 people are expected to be there to tell the governor and legislators that there is no way to frack that doesn't endanger our water and climate--we need a ban. Meet at the north steps of the Capitol on Saturday, March 15, at 1 pm. 350 Sacramento will be there--look for our banner on the east side of the north steps and join us.
We’re experiencing the worst drought in the history of CA. Communities are struggling to know where their water is coming from, while each fracking well takes millions of gallons of water out of circulation permanently. The Brown Administration has called on the public to conserve water, but not big oil and gas. Join us in Sacramento on March 15 at 1 pm to demand an end to fracking in our state!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 17, the Town Hall Meeting on Climate Change, a full-day event designed to "Up the Game" on addressing climate change in the Sacramento area. The day will include opportunities for the public to speak and present ideas; time for elected officials to share their vision of what needs to be done and the barriers they face; we will finalize an Action Plan created through crowd-sourcing; there will be networking opportunities by interest area and across issues; and an after-party/reception to relax and network some more. More details to follow. Volunteers needed, please contact Laurie.
