Tackling climate change is a big job and we're in it for the long run, so we look for opportunities to make it fun. Join us in the following events and make a difference while feeling good:
May is Bike Month. Sign up for the 350 Sac team and ride--it's as easy as that. You'll find yourself riding more and driving less. Less carbon in the atmosphere while you get healthier, eat without guilt, and enjoy the journey. Go to http://www.mayisbikemonth.com.
Tuesday, May 13—Book Group to discuss HOT: Living Through the Next Fifty Years on Earth by Mark Hertsgaard. Mark will be the keynote speaker at the Town Hall Meeting on Climate Change (see below). Gather on the back patio at Weatherstone's at 6:30 pm to talk about this highly informative, easy to read, solution-oriented book. http://markhertsgaard.com/.
Saturday, May 17—Town Hall Meeting on Climate Change: Upping the Game! This is the big event when it comes to climate change--don't miss it!
